Synopsis:

Get ready for a hauntingly hilarious new musical from the writing team behind County Fair!


From Theatrical Rights Worldwide comes PURGAstory, a spirited original musical by Matt Webster and Taylor Ferrera. First developed in collaboration with NTPA Collegiate Pursuits, this brand-new work returns to Plano for the next phase of its development.


The Story:

When a group of high school students embarks on a seemingly ordinary school trip, they stumble into an old hotel and discover it is already occupied by ghosts. When the living and the dead realize they can see one another, what follows is a wildly entertaining mix of mystery, heart, and hilarity.


This special staged reading brings the full musical to its feet as the cast works directly with Webster and Ferrera to continue shaping the show through rehearsal, performance, and new revisions.


Featuring original songs, new material, and a talented ensemble of pre-professional performers, this is a rare opportunity to experience a new musical while it is still being created.

Policies of North Texas Performing Arts

Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance or production of the same value. All ticket exchanges must be made at least 24 hours in advance of show time. No exchanges will be granted after this time. To make an exchange, please contact the front of house coordinator for your show or email [email protected] or call our box office at 972-853-7425. All tickets are valid up to 15 minutes past the documented show start time. Any tickets that have not been used by that point may be voided and sold to other patrons. Refunds are not available to patrons who arrive late. Patrons who arrive more than 15 minutes past the show start time may be allowed into the theatre if their seat has not been resold. Late patrons may be asked to wait until an appropriate time in the show to enter the theatre. Late patrons may also be asked to sit in a different seat than what is stated on their ticket to avoid disrupting the performance.
